What are the steps of a pedicure?

1. Soak the feet

The first step of a pedicure involves soaking the feet in warm water with added salts, oils, or other soaking agents to soften your cuticles and make them easier to remove.

2. Cleaning the feet

The next step consists of using a brush or scrubber to clean the feet and remove any dead skin cells.

3. Trim and shaping of nails

In the following step, use clippers and/or nail files to trim and shape the toenails into the desired shape.

4.Treating the cuticles

Treating the cuticles is an essential part of a basic pedicure. After softening the cuticle and gently pushing back the cuticles using a cuticle pusher or drops of cuticle oil, it is time for the cutting of cuticles. Cuticle grooming is done to get rid of any excess cuticles with a cuticle nipper. All that is needed is a few metal tools and you are in business. Cuticle care is essential, and just a bit of cuticle oil can go a long way to.

5. Exfoliating and Removing dead skin with a pumice stone

Once the cuticles are treated, it is time for a foot treatmentScrubbing the feet with a rough foot scrub or pumice stone to remove any dry or rough skin, leaving your feet with radiant skin.

6. Moisturize and massage the feet

The foot massage is an important part of a pedicure as it has several benefits. During a foot massage, the therapist will use techniques such as kneading, rubbing, and pressing to target the various pressure points on the feet. This can help to improve circulation, reduce swelling and tension, and relieve pain and discomfort. Feet and lower leg massage is often done with lotion massage or oil massage which help moisturize the skin.

7. Apply nail care polish (optional)

This step is optional, but lots of our beloved customers decide to go for nail polish making it a deluxe pedicure. In this last step, we apply a base coat, nail polish, and topcoat to the toenails, if desired.
